It's clear that Johnson feels quite confident in his new look, however, with his comments about the DCEU power hierarchy suggesting that Superman, widely considered one of the strongest beings in the DCEU, may be dethroned with the arrival of Black Adam.

While fans have gotten a glimpse of Johnson's body for the role in the form of behind-the-scenes photos and official production stills, he has yet to be fully unveiled as the character in a trailer.

In a new interview with Men's Journal, Johnson reveals the lengths he went to in order to get his body for the movie, trying to surpass the mock-ups done by illustrators and surprise fans. The first live-action trailer for Black Adam, which was released several months ago, gives fans a first look at the character in action, but the cloak and dark environment obscure Johnson's body type. Johnson is one of the most bankable and well-known actors working today, having appeared in hits like Jungle Cruise, Red Notice, San Andreas, and a number of installments of the Fast & Furious franchise. Black Adam will feature performances from a number of people, including Johnson.

The comic book character of the same name will be the basis for Johnson's superhero debut in the DCEU film Black Adam. Details regarding the plot of the film are currently being kept under wraps but Johnson has continued to tease the character's immense power and brutality in various posts on social media. With a release date planned for this summer, it likely won't be too much longer before fans get another trailer for Black Adam, one that more fully shows off Johnson's character and his intense physical performance. It is not known whether the character will be able to take on the likes of Superman. Johnson said he had to commit to the toughest training regimen of his life to prepare for Black Adam. It was obvious that Johnson would eventually appear in a superhero movie. The training that Johnson did to prepare for Black Adam was the hardest he has ever done. While a longer trailer is likely not far away, fans will have to wait until July 29 for the full release of Johnson's Black Adam.

Although Johnson was already renowned for his physical stature, his recent comments certainly suggest that things are being taken to a whole new level for the upcoming film.

The training we did for this movie was the most difficult I have ever done in my life. The hierarchy of power in the DC universe is about to change. Black Adam and Superman will face off at some point in the future according to Johnson.
