In the above video, Johnson talks about how his anti-hero will redefine the hierarchy of power in the DCEU. Jaume Collect-Serra and Johnson likely had free reign to bring about a new era in the DC universe, even though Black Adam will never get to clash with Superman. The trailer's massive scale and 960 frames per second technology bode well for what they will experience in theaters on October 21, 2022. The official trailer for Black Adam arrived on June 8, giving fans their first look at the character's tragic backstory and battle with anyone who stands in his way. He thanked fans from the Iron Paradise for the 98% positive review of Black Adam's trailer.
Black Adam, an Egyptian slave who is granted powers by the ancient wizard, was going to be introduced in the movie. His physical and mental commitment to the character stretches well beyond just this solo film, which may lead to the DCEU's next chapter. The response to Black Adam's first official trailer was incredible. Black Adam's appearances in other DC Extended Universe projects were scrapped by Johnson in favor of a definitive solo debut. Creative freedom was not granted to films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. Johnson has made it clear before that he has big plans for Black Adam and that he sees himself portraying what could be his biggest role for years to come.
Johnson's social media presence is very important in the marketing of his films. Black Adam and Johnson have been together for almost a decade. The response has been very positive.
