The trailer shows the first glimpse of the new Charmed One, an artist who has arrived from Philadelphia to revive the Power of Three, but whether or not the sisters will accept her right away remains to be seen. The original WB series of the same name ran from 1998 to 2006 and was a remake. The original series had a casting issue when one of the original sisters left after 3 seasons and was replaced by a younger sister played by Rose McGowan. Charmed has been successful in keeping its teen audience on board, so they have a track record of making the right decision, but this season will definitely be make or break for the series.

They are going to have to find a way to navigate their new sisterly relationship sooner than later, because a burgeoning threat has an eye toward their imminent destruction, along with the ruination of the entire magical world. The new character should not feel like a pale imitation of the original, without changing the dynamic of the show too fundamentally. The revelation that they have an older half- sister Macy helps them to ignite the Power of Three, in which they combine their individual power into an incredible force. Without Macy, the Power of Three is torn apart, so the show creators had to cast a new third sister.

Following the death of their mother, sisters Mel and Maggie discover that they are endowed with magical powers. She has a lot of experience, even though she is not well-known in the States. There will be a third witch in Charmed season 4.
