In Obi-Wan's time of need, Tala helped him and provided a way out for both of them. The character in the story has to confront his traumatic past and come out of hiding to save his friend, Leia Organa. Since Reva is going to have a lot of time to spare, he will have to do it quickly. The first time Obi-Wan and Darth Vader crossed paths was when they fought on Musfatar. The being who was once his Padawan is not in the mental or physical place to put up a decent fight.
It makes perfect sense that the first encounter between Kenobi and Vader was not much more intricate and involved. Audiences had been waiting for a moment when master and apprentice met again, and it came in the most recent episode.
It was an epic moment in a small town on a mining planet.
The Jedi was not prepared to fight a powerful enemy.
Hopefully, Tala will be able to help him get there. She has helped smuggle more than one Jedi in the past, so maybe she can arrange for a backup. The use of Tatooine imagery and contrasting colors make for some of the best individual poster designs.
