At the end of the Kenobi-Vader story, I wanted Reva to be the one who told Vader to stop hunting. The latter are deadly Jedi hunters under Vader's command, and Obi-Wan introduced a new Inquisitor to canon through the Third Sister, Reva. Reva's death was supposed to come after she saved the Jedi, ending Vader's pursuit of his former master. Since Reva is not mentioned in any other canon materials after these events, many expected her to die in Obi-Wan.
Reva was the mastermind behind the kidnapping of Leia to get Obi-Wan out of hiding. Stuart told The Direct that his plans for the Inquisitor character were different than when he was working on Obi-Wan's story as a movie trilogy. Reva can be seen again thanks to Lucasfilm's decision to change Obi-Wan's script and not kill her. The Disney+ series showed Obi-Wan helping save a young girl and meeting the Inquisitors, as well as two re-enactments of Darth Vader and Obi-Wan.
Lucasfilm may have changed Obi-Wan Kenobi from a potential movie trilogy to a limited series on Disney+, but Beattie's script was still used as the basis for this adventure. His version of the show had Obi-Wan telling Reva that Darth Vader is not real.
One of the show's biggest unanswered questions is Reva's fate in the finale. Reva died at Darth Vader's hand in the original script. He said that Darth Vader killed Reva with his lightsaber and that he created Reva. She hunted down the Jedi in an attempt to prove herself to Darth Vader, who she hated since she was a Jedi youngling. It would have made more sense for Darth Vader and the Grand Inquisitor to end with Reva's death. Reva's death is not known if Lucasfilm intended to have the Obi-Wan show include it.
