The one scene from the new trailer that has rightfully gained more attention than any other is the moment where Obi-Wan is talking to Owen, and he tells him that when the time comes that he must be trained.

The trailer does not show any scenes of Darth Vader, despite being billed as the sequel of the century. The trailer then transitions to Obi-Wan on the run from the Empire on a planet that is distinctly not Tatooine while beating people up with his fists and, surprisingly, using a blaster despite being a Jedi and having a lightsaber on hand. The narrative perspective changes as the voice of the Grand Inquisitor insists that Obi-Wan is gone, all set to scenes of the Empire.

It keeps the fans in a state of anticipation for the show's debut, and it will likely only be a small part of the series.

The trailer opens with epic, John Williams-style music set to a bunch of disjointed scenes in space to help set the mood. With only a few weeks left until the show debuts on Disney+, the company higher-ups decided to give all Star Wars fans a brand-new trailer for Obi-Wan.

Owen hated Obi-Wan so much that he wanted him to stay as far away from the Jedi as possible. In the time until it does debut, anything from a new Star Wars project is always worth looking over, and the few pieces of information that the trailer did reveal are worthy of discussion.

The voice of one of the other Inquisitors says that they have been looking in the wrong places. Even if Obi-Wan and Darth Vader fight more than once, any fight they have before the series finale is likely going to be very brief, and that is not something that should be shown in a trailer.

Being a Jedi is a death sentence now in the era of the Galactic Empire, and Owen knows this. Having met both Obi-Wan and Anakin, it's easy to blame Obi-Wan for all of Anakin's failures. He doesn't want his nephew to be hunted down by people who will never forget, forgive, or show mercy. Even though they are aware of everything that is happening around them, Obi-Wan insists that they be trained as Jedi. As brutal and perfectly delivered as that comeback is, that brief scene shows so much about Obi-Wan and Owen's characters and sets the foundation for how these two will interact within the series. The trailer ends with Darth Vader's breathing noise.

Owen had his maturing years during the Clone Wars. Being a Jedi at this time is a death sentence, as shown in Star Wars: Rebels. The Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother from Star Wars: Rebels are on Tatooine. Being the perfect Jedi can be just as much of a flaw as a virtue. Owen thinks that Obi-Wan is trying to get him killed so that he can win the battle. The bait has been dropped and Star Wars fans are biting.
