Hiro Kanagawa (iZombie, Altered Carbon) has been added to the cast as Donnan, the law enforcement employee that returns Esther to her family but seems suspicious of who she is. Fuhrman had a recurring role in Masters of Sex and was a tribute in The Hunger Games since she was in the original film. Based on the trailer, it isn't for lack of effort on Donovan's part, as he seems concerned both with where the real Esther is and who the fake Esther actually is.

Julia and Rossif are playing the Albrights, and they are joined by her as the first family. The actress has aged, which is okay, since the audience is interested in her secret. Considering what the Albrights are about to go through, closure is always a good thing.

The film was written by David Coggeshall and directed by William Brent Bell. The illusion that the now 25-year-old Fuhrman looks nine years old is given by old-school techniques like lighting, angles, and a well- placed body double.

Even though Esther's mother knows she isn't who she says she is, she and the audience don't know what happened to her real daughter.

The film's plot is similar to the story of Frédéric Bourdin, a French man who pretended to be a missing thirteen-year-old from San Antonio.

There are several clues that Esther isn't who she seems as the story progresses. The family has arranged for their daughter to speak with a child therapist to work through her trauma, though it isn't clear what that trauma is.

The first image and behind-the-scenes photos of the characters in costume have been released. The official that brought the family together caught on to something that wasn't right.

As fans return to the world of Leena Klammer, they're introduced to how the woman with proportional dwarfism started her scam.

The movie will be available in theaters, for digital purchase, and on Paramount+.

After it was confirmed that the actress would return to the role, fans were concerned about how they would de-age Fuhrman. The mother is "reconciling" with the fact that something isn't quite right. A law enforcement official tells the Albrights that their missing daughter has been found. Can they figure out what happened to the real Esther and what to do with the imposter before it's too late? The wait is over for fans of the film. His family was thrilled that their son had been found, ignoring his eye color and accent.

Coggeshall's work is based on a story by David Johnson-McGoldrick and the writer of the original film Alex Mace. Everything you need to know about the release of Orphan: First Kill is here. Leena is peddling a story that is probably not true.
