Any discussions with Jon Kasdan about continuing the story of Qi'ra and other characters can only be a good thing, and the executive producer's pre-existing connection to that story bode well for the inclusion of Crimson Dawn and the group's mysterious leader as the MandoVerse expands

Jon Favreau is a big fan of the film and Kasdan has talked to him about continuing the story of Qi'ra. The Hidden Empire will be the last of Charles Soule's trilogy and will give fans a better idea of the future of Qi'ra.

The main antagonists for the crime lord would be revealed in The Book of Boba Fett. The Disney+ series Lando will see Donald Glover return to the title role for more adventures when his schedule allows. The film was the first Star Wars project to fail at the box office, leading Lucasfilm and Disney to assign blame. In the War of the Bounty Hunters comic series, Qi'ra returned to Star Wars in order to destroy the Sith. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni seem to want to keep Fett as one of the key players in the MandoVerse so he can be seen again sooner than later.

Disney and Lucasfilm may consider more journeys for the character after the success of the limited series, which was originally billed as a limited series.

The most interesting new character that was gifted to fans was Qi'ra, the femme fatale who chose to stay with the crime syndicate and learn from Maul. Fett's challenges in the present day never took him off of Tatooine, though the end of the season hints at his desire to pursue something else. Early on in the film, the writer and actor lent his voice for the role of Rio Durant, who unfortunately met his fate.

"I think we are," Jon Kasdan said in an interview with Screen Rant at Star Wars Celebration. Sometime in the future, we're going to see how Qi'ra advanced through the world through the crime syndicates.

"Star Wars is going in so many fun directions that there is room for other Solo characters to make their mark on upcoming adventures," Kasdan said.

Lucasfilm clearly has a plan for Qi'ra, as she's a key player in the comic lines set after The Empire Strikes Back. Boba went up against the Pyke Syndicate and Cad Bane in order to establish freedom for the city of Mos Espa. I saw the trailer for Andor and thought, "Well, Enfys Nest is going to show up somewhere in that show." The man helped create her hopes that the character would join the narrative.

Han and his friends were intended to be the first part of a larger story. Despite the movie's poor performance, it has been well received by Star Wars fans and many are campaigning for a sequel. Ron Howard is willing to return for more, though it's up to Disney. I told him that he was the guy to figure it out.

It's worth noting that Favreau played a part in the film, but he isn't just a fan of it. Four years have passed since the movie "Solo: A Star Wars Story" was released in theaters.
