There is more to the kid's story as he learns the ways of the Force, and it will be interesting to see how the Foundling helps him in his journey to come. Grogu's training with Skywalker was cut short when the kid was offered a choice to return to Mando's side, and the series ended with the pair voyaging off together in their N-1 starfighter.
Star Wars fans were surprised when two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett became a preamble to Season 3 and largely left the character out of the story. With The Book of Boba Fett's run complete, the next top for the MandoVerse is The Mandalorian Season 3. The MandoVerse was expanded in enormous ways in Season 2, bringing in characters like Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, and Bo-Katan Kryze while also working to expand the more subtle pieces of Din's journey. After just a few episodes, the little green guy walked away from the Jedi Order and the show that was about him. The next season of the hit series began production last Fall and, if everything goes according to plan, will wrap at the end of March.
There will be a lot of new faces, but there will be some familiar faces, according to the Mando star. It doesn't seem likely that he'll care enough to go through with it in the end; between Bo-Katan and Boba Fett, Mando has started to learn that there's more to being a Mandalorian than wearing a helmet. The man behind the helmet has recently teased what fans can expect from the next chapter in the story. Mando will have to confess if he wants to be considered a Mandalorian in the eyes of his leader.

With Ahsoka beginning production in April and releasing in early 2023, there's a good chance that the fan-favorite former Jedi will be seen.
There is a lot of action and a really great story in store for fans, without going into detail. With a new ship and his kid at his side, Din is prepared to take on the challenges of being the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
Pedro Pascal, in an interview with German magazine Neelix, said that he didn't have much to say about The Mandalorian Season 3. Grogu's presence should make it easier for the warrior to refine his skills with the Darksaber.
