In the recently revealed Super Bowl trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there is an alternate version of Doctor Strange that is not Strange Supreme.
When this new evil version of the Doctor Strange character was first shown off in the initial Multiverse of Madness trailer, fans immediately thought it was the Strange Supreme that was seen in What If...
It didn't seem like a lot of a leap to assume that this new Strange was also from the streaming series, with Captain Carter seemingly confirmed to be making the jump from the animated world into live-action. In being Strange Supreme, the character would be the first MCU personality to make the jump from animation to live-action.

The caption for the character shows that he is a completely new character and not from any previous adventures. The character was one of the main protagonists of the alternate reality adventure in the animated series.
Who knows if another version of Benedict Cumberbatch's character could make it onto the list.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters on May 6, 2022. The Multiversal adventure is being directed by Sam Raimi, and is said to feature a lot of cameos from across super-powered realities. This isn't the version of the character that fans saw in What It... Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is just months away and fans can't wait. Professor X, Captain Carter, and a couple different versions of Doctor Strange are part of this collection.
There is a chance that Captain Carter will be joining the film. It doesn't mean that Strange Supreme won't be in the film.
